Livesay Orchards Pumpkin Patch, Peach Orchard, and Farm Market in Porter, Oklahoma.

Exciting Educational School Tours!

Livesay Orchards offers exceptional farm tours, providing lots of fun and learning opportunities for children. We are pleased to tell you that our curriculum complies with the science and social studies curriculum standards of Oklahoma, under the direction of Dawna Livesay, a former public school teacher.

Along with the tour, our video shows the work that takes place throughout the entire year.  Our hands-on, fun learning centers teach about orchard activities from planting to harvest in a memorable way.  And our Pumpkin Playland offers the children a time to play fun, farm games.

Helpful Information to Help Prepare for Your Tour

  • Please arrive 15 minutes before your scheduled tour start time
  • Gather all money (adults and children) and designate one person to check-in and pay at the market upon arrival
  • Children must be accompanied by an adult at all times.  This is a working farm.  Tractors and customer’s vehicles will be on the move.
  • Allergy medicine may be needed to enjoy the hay bale maze &/or hayride.
  • Idea: Bring a marker to write child’s name on apple bag (provided by Livesay Orchards) or on bottom of pumpkin
  • Our lunch area consists of large tents with hay bales for seating, please no pop or juice, it attracts bees
  • Our main restrooms facilities are located next to the lunch tents, our secondary restrooms facilities are in the Science-on-the-Farm Barn

Inclement Weather

We suggest making decisions due to inclement weather the morning of the tour.  Call Livesay Orchards to discuss weather conditions and if weather is not suitable we will be glad to reschedule your tour.

Cancellations & No Call, No Show

In respect of other tour groups, and to maintain booking flexibility, there is a $25.00 fee for any tour group that does not give us a TWO-WEEK notice.  (Inclement weather cancellations do not apply if we have been notified prior to tour).
